Kihon KataKihon Nage WazaKihon Osae Waza

he KIHON NAGE WAZA (literaly: base, projection, technique) is a whole of 7 techniques of basic projection, which is carried out in the form of a kata (combination of movements which form and unfolding are codified). This fundamental element aims at showing the guiding principles of Aikibudo starting from the principal attacks. Its form being codified, it can be carried out by two practicionners that have never met before. It thus constitutes an element of reference for all Aikibudokas in the world.

The practitioner must do the seven movements of projection in a row; each movement is carried out initially on the right then on the left.
The learning of this kata is carried out over approximately two years of practice.
